Kickass Comestibles of the Day: Donna @ Apron Strings has a special place in her culinary cardiovascular system for cracking eggs into veggies. Back in December she experimented with eggs in avocado slices, and last week she gave Onion Ring Sunny-side Up Eggs a shot.
She says:
This is a great version of the eggs in veggie ring molds – sauteed onions are so delicious, and give a nice tang to the eggs. And they are, of course, beautiful on a plate!
If you’re feeling egg-venturous (sorry), you can follow Donna’s instructions here and make your own.

I make this for my work lunch sometimes during the week. Its quite delicious.

You never thought there could be anything cooler than a pet rock. But there is.
A pet rock that doubles as a photo holder! It’s a boutique-worthy photo display that’s super easy to make and costs less than 5 bucks.

Phoneography DIY:
It may be warm for some of us here in California, but in other places, it’s still pretty darn cold!
That’s where come this DIY for touch-screen-friendly gloves will come in handy for our fellow phoneographers braving colder weather.
Best part? You can apply this DIY to gloves you already own!
